Africa Business Heroes

We are pleased to have been a part of the judging process that saw 21,000 #entrepreneurs from all 54 #African #countries apply for the 2022 Africa’s #BusinessHeroes Competition. After a rigorous screening and evaluation process, and in-depth interviews we’ve identified our Top 20 finalists. They come from 11 countries, 10 sectors, are 50% female, and are all inspirational, successful, and impactful changemakers!

ABH What’s Next?

Over the coming month, our top heroes will undergo a rigorous due diligence process which, combined with their Round 2 scores, will help us determine our Top 15 heroes. We will then fly our Top 15 into Kigali, Rwanda for our first in-person semi-final since 2019!

Our panel of esteemed judges will then determine who our Top 10 Business Heroes of 2022 are after a marathon day of pitches on the 30th of September. Keep an eye on your inbox for our Top 10 announcement in early October.

The Grand Finale and culmination of this year’s exciting competition will take place at the end of November. During this event, we will identify our 2022 Top Business Hero. The competition this year is steep, so be sure to join this exciting event where we showcase some of the entrepreneurial powerhouses across Africa competing to be crowned the 2022 Africa’s Business Heroes Winner!
